Awareness programme on Career Opportunities:Students of Commerce department of GVRS Government Degree College, Dhone, joined OJT (On the Job Training) with Photon Rural and Urban Development Society.

The department of commerce has conducted a career guidance programme on 27th November, 2021, Saturday. Mr Sainath, Head of Photon training institute delivered the lecture on the need to enhance the communication and soft skills to compete in the job market. He assured that he will select and train the students by paying stipend. seven students were selected for 45 day training in basics of office management and communication skills by paying stipend.

Job mela is conducted in the college in association with ICICI bank on 20th December, 2021 in which the students from different colleges participated.

Department of Commerce and Economics conducted a field trip to Asia Cement, Dhone, on 29th January, 2022 to acquaint the students with the real manufacturing environment, operations of plant and machinery in the factory and the method of disbursing the output using the technology.

Department of Commerce has conducted an induction programme to the newly admitted students to familiarise the students with the college culture and policies.

Mr Shivaramaiah, student of first year BA was trained in fencing game by the college physical education department. He participated in the 6th state level wheelchair fencing championship, 2022 and won a silver medal.

International Day of Mother Languages

The Students of G.V.R.S. Govt. Degree College were participated in student satisfaction survey for the academic year 2019 – 20 on Teaching – Learning Process under criterion II. Nearly 30 students Reports were Collected 22 were boys and 8 were girls. The format was prepared according to the guidelines given by NAAC. There were 12 Questions made on overall Institutional performance. The Questioner was developed on Syllabus coverage, effective Teaching – Learning using of ICT, curriculum enrichment, participation of curricular and extracurricular encouraged by Teachers. The following Results were traced out by the evaluation done by the Students 52% percentage of students given 4 option which is strongly agreed and Thoroughly communicated 28% given 3 option which means usually fair in dissemination information and motivation 11% given natural in using ICT enable Teaching. Most of the Students expressed their Satisfaction towards teaching learning good ground facilities. overall rating is good.
